Chamomile seems to have three basic properties: anxiolytic, antispasmodic and antibacterial. It is known that chamomile oil moisturizes and soothes very dry skin. It seems to effectively fight "itching", local irritations and "redness" on the skin. Chamomile oil "soothes" irritated skin and protects it from local infections and fungal infections. It is also considered that Chamomile Oil contributes to the treatment of tired, sore or "caught" muscles as well as to the relief (with a gentle massage) of rheumatic pains.
